July 2nd, 2017:Sudomemo Weekly News

Hey there everyone, DeepRising here with the Weekly News Letter. There was a great response to last week's topic "Medieval Times". Well done to everybody who entered. Here are the winning flipnotes.

Our Favorite Flipnotes from last weeks Topic "Medieval Times"

This first entry by ach~ump shows weapons from Medieval times. We really loved the animated transformations from one weapon to the next.

A king remembers a long lost love in this beautifully made romantic flipnote by ☆Rainstar☆.

In this entry, GameRat101 uses humour to make some very interesting points about the inequities of the class system in Medieval times.

There's two great Medieval themed speed draws in this flipnote by SimonSK.

We chuckled our socks off at this Monty Python scored flipnote by Kaizike. Who needs a horse, when two halves of a coconut shell will do? XD

This delightful musical entry by kim features the infamous monarch King Henry the eighth. It has a great drawing style and is timed very nicely with the music.

There a whole Kingdom of Medieval characters in this fun flipnote by SggyNapkin.

We loved the idea in this entry by LaviTavi, of transporting this familiar character to a topic themed world. Long live Sir Clumsy Cat, the Medieval Cat!

This Weeks Topic - "Tennis"

This week's topic is Tennis. With Wimbeldon starting this week, it's the time of year to get the racquets out and start serving those aces. Tennis is a very dynamic sport. The players make fantastic poses as the play their shots, and race and slide about the court at great speed. However, this can be seen in great detail with the slow-motion TV coverage of the action at Wimbeldon and could be very inspiring for your animations. There's many tennis players with different styles and personalities, umpires in tall chairs keeping score, ball boys and girls racing back and forth, lightening fast serves, and Hawk-eye the computer that has the final say on any disputed line calls. There should be lots of possibilities for making flipnotes. We really love the way your all so creative with these topics and look forward to seeing the flipnotes you create for them. Make sure to post your entries to the Weekly Topic channel, and the deadline for your entries is the 9th of July. Keep on flipnoting and the best of luck with your entries.
