Is it a bird? Is it a plane? No; it's Sudofox and User with the Sudomemo Weekly News!

This past week marks two years since Sudomemo came online. Since then, almost a million Flipnotes have been posted from over 22,000 people!!

We'd like to take this opportunity to thank you; without the community supporting us, we couldn't have got this far. We know that Sudomemo isn't perfect, but we're trying our best to maintain the original vision that Hatena and Nintendo had for a Flipnote sharing service. Mistakes happen, but we're learning along the way, and are striving to improve. (:

It's exciting to see how much the service has grown and evolved since we created it, especially considering that we're just a small group of volunteers with limited skills and resources who work on Sudomemo in our spare time.

★ This Week's Topic - "Books"

The topic for this week is "Books"! Perhaps you could make Flipnotes about characters exploring libraries, or being sucked into the world of a story. You could also make something inspired by one of your favorite books!

Please post your entries for this week's topic to the Weekly Topic - Books channel! You can also find the Weekly Topic channels on the DSi, by going to category #8 from the 'Channels' menu.

Also, if you base your Flipnote on a story, be sure include the title and author in the Flipnote if you can. We like reading. (:

★ Updates

Over the past week, we've been making various improvements and optimizations to Sudomemo in order to reduce load time and help with some issues that we've seen lately. This includes:

- Creator's Rooms (DSi, Web) - Flipnote view page (Web) - Popular, Hot, and Recent Flipnotes (DSi, Web)

Unfortunately this meant that we were not able to complete the new feature that we had planned to release this week. We also apologize for the delay in posting this article!
