And now, our winning Flipnotes from last week’s Topic “Mazes“.

Well done to everyone who entered.

In this Topic winning Flipnote by Kip, Notesferatu the frog tries to escape an impossible maze with a hearty humph, a skewable skip, and a geronimus jump!

Color separating the character from the background was a very successful technique, cleanly presenting the broad-movement cartoon animation within its highly detailed setting.

A PC Screen saver is the inspiration behind this fantastic 3D maze animation by Vinyboiler.

The complex interior is visualised clearly with a great use of color and texture. Along with Easter egg wall art, which is discovered as you explore!

Three friends dare to enter Wellington’s “Super Special Corn Maze” in our next winning Topic entry by Hi5.

We loved the inclusion of character skills, to enhance the drama, as well as the showmanship, and eventual evil genius, of the Maze Master himself!

This excellent “Maze Runner” Fan-Art illustration by aceford360 features a terrifying Griever monster locking eyes with a hapless Glader……

Their chances for survival look slim!

This Week's Topic - "Suspense"

Suspense (definition): Awaiting a decision or outcome, usually accompanied by a degree of apprehension or anxiety.

In movie thrillers, suspense is the key!

Through acting, music, and editing, film makers emphasize the characters emotions, drawing the audience into a suspenseful situation.

Your Flipnotes could create a sense of suspense in any way you like, and about anything you like!

Make them in a cinematic style, or bring a feeling of suspense to illustrations, character based stories, MVs, or whatever else you choose.

Thrill us to the very edge of our seats, by starting a nail-biting Topic Flipnote today!

We really love the way you're all so creative with these topics and look forward to seeing the Flipnotes you create for them.

Make sure to post your entries to the Weekly Topic channel Weekly Topic - Suspense and the deadline for your entries is February the 16th (12pm EST / 4pm GMT).

We would also encourage you to add a description to your Flipnotes, to highlight any details you’d like us to feature in our winner reviews.

Tip: The frame you save your Flipnote on will become the thumbnail, so choose your favorite or add a title page!

Keep on Flipnoting and the best of luck with your entries.
