And now, our winning Flipnotes from last week’s Topic “Smoke and Flames“.

Well done to everyone who entered.

In the first of our winning selections this week, Future has created a cozy and restful ambience with the warming flames of an outdoor fire in the dead of night.

Made as a screen-saver styled animated cycle, two color paintbrush techniques expertly bring out the soft flickering flames and rising smoke, as well as the atmospheric cast light that orientates from its center.

The hazards of stress and overstimulation at work are imaginatively visualised as a burnout with smoke and flames in our next Topic winning entry by Emi.

Beginning with the passing of time, symbolised with the ticking of a beautifully ornate clock, the steadfast employee determinedly presses on in the hubbub of a busy day, igniting from the ground, up in the smouldering flames of mental and physical exhaustion, before the inevitable collapse takes hold.

As the smoke clears, a fiery gaming weapon activates in this Reyujin fan animation by MⒶZOkidox.

Created in worm’s-eye view, looking steeply up at the figure, the elements are beautifully animated, with both fluid billowing movement for the smoke, and a well timed flickering flash as the fighter’s fist bursts alight.

A science class about fire raises some confusing issues about gas, in this hilarious Topic winner by dermo™.

Waggishly voice-acted to a stick figure cast, along with some great line-animated flames, the lesson proceeds to its disastrous conclusion when a particular student makes a fatal word-play related mistake!

An action packed tale of revenge, arson, and a strange experimental substance plays out to a bizarre conclusion in this wonderfully presented pictorial MV made by T3DDY!.

Don’t miss the creator’s detailed description written in the comments. It’s a real hair-raiser!

And that concludes last week’s Topic winners.

Now onto this week's Topic description.

This Weeks Topic - "Christmas 2025"

Ding-dong merrily on high guys.

It's Christmas!

Santa will soon be traveling the world with Rudolf and the team on his reindeer driven sleigh, while dropping down our chimneys to leave oodles of presents under the Christmas tree!

This magical time of year celebrates the Nativity, along with a host of festive traditions such as tree decorating, carol singing and gift giving, while embodying the yule tide spirit and good will to all.

Your Flipnotes could celebrate Christmas in any way you like.

How about making an animated Christmas card, a Crimbo comedy skit, a cracker pulling Xmas dinner, or a holly-jolly MV?

The festive choice is yours!

We really love the way you're all so creative with these topics and look forward to seeing the Flipnotes you create for them.

Make sure to post your entries to the Weekly Topic channel Weekly Topic - Christmas 2025 and the deadline for your entries is December the 28th (12pm EST / 4pm GMT).

We would also encourage you to add a description to your Flipnotes, to highlight any details you’d like us to feature in our winner reviews.

Tip: The frame you save your Flipnote on will become the thumbnail, so choose your favorite or add a title page!

The best of luck with your entries, and have a very merry Christmas.
