March 10th, 2019 : Sudomemo Weekly News

Hey there everyone, DeepRising here with the Weekly News Letter. There was a great response to last week's topic "Caves". Well done to everybody who entered. Here are the winning flipnotes.

Our Favorite Flipnotes from last weeks Topic "Caves"

In our first entry, by Sqwidgirly, a young cave explorer discovers a trove of hidden treasure. We really like the use of sound effects for the twinkles on the gold and jewels.

Our next entry, by Cosmirage, features a racing car driving through an enormouse cavern. There's stalactites, stalagmites and giant gems in the unusual cave environment.

Caves can be beautiful and dangerous, as this haunting Flipnote by Doleort shows. There's a great feeling of depth and the fantastic drawing and animation really brings the cave to life.

In this Flipnote by OddTier, a dare devil cave dive yealds great reward. The perspective, sense of speed, and dive acrobatics are totally awesome!

When exploring a cave, one should always check that it is in fact, a cave. There's a nasty surprise in store for the two intrepid explorers in this entry by kenpa(ケンパ). The drawings are excellent, and the idea really made us chuckle.

Link from Zelda does cave battle with some dangerous foes, in this entry by Slab. The structure and design are expertly done, and the flame animations and sound adds greatly to the atmosphere.

This Weeks Topic - "Telekinesis"

Telekinesis is where objects are moved with the power of the mind. People such as Uri Geller have demonstrated telekinetic abilities such as spoon bending, yet the subject is still highly suspect in the world of science. However, in the fictional worlds of comic books, computer games and films, there are many characters with this astonishing power. For example, Dr Manhattan from the Watchman - DC comics, Carrie from the novel by Stephen King, and all the Jedi masters from the Star Wars franchise. What would you do, if you had telekinetic powers? With the power of your mind, why not show us, make a Flipnote for this topic! Make sure to post your entries to the Weekly Topic channel, and the deadline for your entries is the 17th of March.

Keep on flipnoting and the best of luck with your entries.
