In recent years Lego has been making poseable ball and socket toys called 'Bionicles'. I have some myself : ). This beautifully made entry by MAbsolGirl shows the design and construction of a really fantastic looking Bionicle dragon.

We were delighted with this flipnote by /e/Menzel., where a Lego man can change facial expressions with a spin of his head.

Searching for just the right brick is an essential part of a Lego build. This super cool entry from HILL features Mario in just such a search. The Lego sound effects are fantastic, they're so recognisable.

We really enjoyed this story of a life long love of Lego, in our last selection by Gompers.

This Weeks Topic - "Snakes"

This week's topic is snakes. There's many different types of snakes There's the spitting Cobra, the crushing Boa constrictor, the venomous viper and the terrifying Rattle-snake to name but few. They are all covered in scales, and are all different sizes, colours and patterns. They move gracefully with writhing and sliding movements that could be interesting and challenging to animate. The Cobra can hypnotise its prey before it strikes and can itself, be hypnotised by music, as is seen with the Indian snake charmers. What about the movie 'Snakes on a Plane'! That was random and scary! And how about Indianna Jones, he was terrified of snakes. They certainly give me the shivers, but how do you feel about them? We really love the way your all so creative with these topics and look forward to seeing the flipnotes you create for them. Make sure to post your entries to the Weekly Topic channel, and the deadline for your entries is the 27th of August. Keep on flipnoting and the best of luck with your entries.
