Need Some Inspiration?

Looking for a chance to branch out from your usual style? Is this your first time making a comedy Flipnote? There's never been a better time to try animating in a different genre!

Challenge yourself: take 5 minutes and try to write down as many random concepts as you can. They don't have to be funny, just use this to loosen up your brain.

After 5 minutes, take one concept you wrote and storyboard a small skit around it. What could make this funny? How could you subvert the audience's expectations? Can you throw in a funny pun, reference, meme, or wordplay? Can you exaggerate the characters' emotions to the extreme? Give it a go, you never know what you might come up with!

Still looking for some more comedy inspiration to tickle your funnybone? Check out last year's winners!

Best of luck everyone, and happy Flipnoting!
