And now, here are the winning Flipnotes from last week's topic " ".

Well done to everyone who entered.

A simple slip of the hand sends a mountain climbing moggie plunging to their doom in this tragic, Topic winning tale by Joshua.

The character animation is outstanding here, including great pose-to-pose action, overlapping and secondary movements, as well as nice staging with dramatic P.O.Vs.

We also liked the fish-eye lens style curvature used in the drawn backgrounds which gives scope, even in the close-ups.

After an arduous climb to the summit, a wise old man takes in a majestic mountain top sunset in this moving Topic Flipnote by Angel.

What a wonderful way to bring a day to a close, not to mention a great idea for a beautiful Flipnote.

In the rays of a blazing sunrise a mountain climber makes their way, one hand-hold at a time in this Topic winning entry by Ronman®.

The sense of great height and isolation is well visualized with a steeply drawn rock face against a cloud filled sky, where a bird drifts on the wing.

One of the dangers of climbing at altitude is the extreme winds, which can literally blow you right off the mountain face!

As an unfortunate mountaineer finds out in this quick-fire comedy Flipnote by LIME! :).

By the way, has anybody got a parachute?!

There’s a very literal ‘Cliff-Hanger’ ending to this hilarious word-play Topic entry by J64.

Involving a creature never before discovered, that defends its territory with a magical power, the last thing you should ever do is touch it!!!

This Weeks Topic - "Arrows"

This week’s topic is Arrows!

This could be a feathered arrow shot from a bow, or an arrow symbol as you might find on a directional sign post.

Use arrows however you like in your Flipnote ideas, and don’t be afraid to bring them to life with animated movement, distortion, and even cartoon character features (Arms, legs, eyes etc.) to make them more expressive, characterful, and fun!

We really love the way you're all so creative with these topics and look forward to seeing the Flipnotes you create for them.

Make sure to post your entries to the Weekly Topic channel Weekly Topic - Arrows and the deadline for your entries is January 21st (12pm EST / 4pm GMT).

We would also encourage you to add a description to your Flipnotes. This is your opportunity to explain any points of interest and specific details that we could feature in the topic winner reviews.

And don't forget, if you want a cool thumbnail picture on your Flipnote, whichever frame you save the Flipnote on, that will become the thumbnail. So choose your favorite frame for this, or add in a cool title page at the end, and save on that.

Keep on Flipnoting and the best of luck with your entries.
