Hey there everyone, DeepRising here with the Weekly Newsletter and Weekly Topic competition. But first let's kick-off with some up-to-the-minute reminders and other news.

Sudomemo Birthday Bash Happening This Week

We’re happy to remind you that Sudomemo’s 12th Birthday is happening this week, on January the 29th. Which we’ll be celebrating on that day with a fantastic Birthday Bash.

WCF Public Event Judging

This year we’re changing up the judging for the “Winter Comedy Fest” competition due to some availability changes with the original guest panel.

Instead of traditional judges, WCF judging will happen as a public event during the Birthday Bash. Attendees will watch all submissions together and vote based on whether they enjoyed each entry, and winners will be chosen from those votes.

The submission deadline is staying the same. We're excited to try this new format with everyone and see how it goes!

Weekly Topic Resumes

Returning to our regularly scheduled Topic competition, as a double-whammy celebration to coincide with Sudomemo’s special day, the Topic for this week will be “Sudomemo’s 12th birthday”. (See the full Topic description down below)

Here at Sudomemo our fundraising activities reflect the quality of services we can provide.

We want to develop more educational content, as well as continued improvements and upgrades to our infrastructure.

With more funding we would be able to do more for the community and also ensure a healthier future for the site.

Sudomemo was launched on January the 29th, 2014. And here we are, twelve years on and still going strong!

So let’s celebrate this amazing milestone with a Weekly Topic, and wish Sudomemo a very Happy Birthday in style!

Your entries could commemorate Sudomemo’s 12th Birthday in any way you like;

It’s Flipnotes, it’s creators, it’s community?

Or why not make a Birthday animation, illustration, or an MV.

The festivities are entirely up to you!
