Our Favorite Flipnotes from last weeks Topic "The Music Box"

In this Weekly Topic winning Flipnote, Cosmirage enjoys nostalgic reminiscences by creating a music box that features a prima ballerina.

Beautifully drawn and animated, the traditional wind up device is exquisitely decorated, and includes moving parts, a padded lining, and a tuneful melody that plays as the dancing figure rotates.

A Music Box Of Terror whirls around poor Terrence, as it spins into a raging wind in this inspired, high-energy Topic winning entry by PabloNPals.

Animated at speed 8 for an unbelievably intensive effect, the line-boil of the box, the audio blast, and the whirling character movement combine with the frenetic pace of the mystical music for a chilling vision of Terrence’s otherworldly experience.

A ‘cylinder and comb’ music box plays “You Are My Sunshine” through the magic of stop motion animation in this Topic winner by Aardvark😃.

Importing the photos using the outline tool gives great detail on both the background and the device, as well as showing the smooth movement of the turning handle as it operates the mechanism.

When this music box is played, it brings back happy childhood memories of swinging in the playground for its creator InstNuggo.

Performed with OCs Steve and Noodle, the idea is imaginatively conveyed with splendid cartoon character action, gestures, thought-bubbles, and sound effects.

Just turn the key and enjoy!

The monstrous occupant of a music box takes offense when it is played repeatedly in this fabulous pictorial tale created by Alice Lace.

Expertly drawn with great character expression, skillful shot framing, and ingenious story-board structure, the episode plays out with speech bubble dialogue that really gave us a giggle.

This Weeks Topic - "The Skate Park"

A skate park is a purpose built recreational environment made for skateboarding, BMX, scooters, wheelchairs, and aggressive inline skating.

Usually made up of half pipes, handrails, launchers, and stair sets, to name but a few, they’re ideal for doing jumps, tricks, and many other kinds of extreme sport utilization.

Your Topic Flipnotes could include skate parks in any way you choose.

But here’s an idea you might like to try!

Why not create your own crazy skate park design, and fill it with daredevil OC riders all seeking to Wow each other with their even crazier stunts?

Go wild, or Wipe Out! It’s up to you!

We really love the way you're all so creative with these topics and look forward to seeing the Flipnotes you create for them.

Make sure to post your entries to the Weekly Topic channel Weekly Topic - The Skate Park and the deadline for your entries is March 17th (12pm EST / 4pm GMT).

We would also encourage you to add a description to your Flipnotes. This is your opportunity to explain any points of interest and specific details that we could feature in the topic winner reviews.

And don't forget, if you want a cool thumbnail picture on your Flipnote, whichever frame you save the Flipnote on, that will become the thumbnail. So choose your favorite frame for this, or add in a cool title page at the end, and save on that.

Keep on Flipnoting and the best of luck with your entries.
