Our Favorite Flipnotes from last weeks Topic "Lord Of The Rings"

Our first winning selection this week, by Hi :) features hobbits, their homes and their breakfasting habits, as well as Gandalf, Gollum and of course his precious.

We don’t believe it! You must like Lord Of The Rings. “Chuckle”

In our next topic winner, by DC a stick man is his very own Lord of the Rings, and as such has control over all the colored stars in the world!

Will he be merciful and spare his stick brother, or succumb to the evil power of the star-ring and cast him off a cliff to his doom?

This dynamic sword swing with dramatic written dialogue, by Aoi truly belongs in one of the many epic battles from the Lord Of The Rings movie franchise.

What a great idea!

This Weeks Topic - "Bending"

This week's topic is all about bending things and things that bend.

It could be about something that bends easily, an elbow, a knee, or a reed in the wind.

And how about objects that bend because of the material they are made of, like rubber plastic or paper.

On the other hand, why not use animation to make things bend that normally wouldn’t.

This could literally be anything; Buildings, iron girders, stone pillars, or whatever takes your fancy. The more outlandish, the better.

With a more complicated object, the challenge could be keeping the form of the part that bends as you draw it. So a simpler object could be easier.

Here’s a link to a video about animating bending water:

That could also be a fun idea to try!

But the choice of subject is always yours!

Let’s all animate something bending, and start making a topic Flipnote today.

We really love the way you're all so creative with these topics and look forward to seeing the Flipnotes you create for them.

Make sure to post your entries to the Weekly Topic channel Weekly Topic - Bending and the deadline for your entries is April 10th (12pm EST / 4pm GMT).

Also, we would encourage you to add a description to your Flipnotes. This is your opportunity to explain any points of interest and specific details that we could feature in the topic winner reviews.

And don't forget, if you want a cool thumbnail picture on your Flipnote, whichever frame you save the Flipnote on, that will become the thumbnail. So choose your favorite frame for this, or add in a cool title page at the end, and save on that.

Keep on Flipnoting and the best of luck with your entries.
