And now, here are the winning Flipnotes from last week's topic "Bungee Jumping".

Well done to everyone who entered.

Could a broken safety vest spell bungee jump disaster in this Weekly Topic winning entry by Jake.

The exceptional character animation, distinctive voice acting, and Flipnote artistry tells an ironic comedy escape tale that leads hilariously from one ill fated outcome to the next.

Only Wacky could manage it quite like that!

Activating a bungee launcher in free fall saves the day in this winning Topic Flipnote by Drake Star.

Or does it…..?

Employing layered animation techniques for floating choice options, and dynamic character expression creates thrilling game style action, which is enhanced yet further with exciting music and exceptionally well chosen spot sound effects.

When a bungee jump sends ‘Luffy’ into space, the fall back down to earth ends with a serious bang in this Topic winner by kit.

The close up transitions for traveling through the cloud layers, into the stratosphere work beautifully. And we just loved the panic stricken cafe patrons, who just happen to be directly in the path of the plummeting jumper.

Yowzer!!!

A bungee jumper makes the shot of the century when they reattach their cord, mid fall, in this winning Flipnote by Eg Mex.

Splendidly animated with great bouncing movement, as well as cord stretch and recoil, the fear factor is really brought home with the use of extreme perspective for the enormous drop.

A bungee jumping stick man holds in the air for a fab comedy moment, before dropping into a spectacular fall in this fun Flipnote winner created by Jake.

This Weeks Topic - "Mad Scientists"

Unlike regular scientists, a mad scientist is bad, mad, and dangerous to know!

Experimenting with chemicals, electricity, time travel, and even alternative dimensions, they go above and beyond acceptable levels, without any sense of responsibility whatsoever!

And all while laughing maniacally!

Your Flipnotes could feature any type of mad scientists you like. Feel free to science-up your OCs for the task with lab coats, goggles, bubbling test tubes and the like.

Or why not animate pop-culture characters of your choice.

Here’s a list of mad and zany scientist characters you may find inspiring:

Professor Farnsworth - (‘Futurama’ cartoon series)

Professor Frink - (‘The Simpsons’ cartoon series)

Dr Emette Brown - (‘Back To The Future’ movie franchise)

Dr Henry Jekyll - (‘The Strange Case Of Dr Jekyll And Mr Hyde’: Novel by Robert Louis Stevenson)

Dr Neo Cortex - (‘Crash Bandicoot” video game)

The Brain - (‘Pinky And The Brain’ cartoon series)

Whatever you decide, go experiment, and hit us with your crazy science and even crazier scientists!

We really love the way you're all so creative with these topics and look forward to seeing the Flipnotes you create for them.

Make sure to post your entries to the Weekly Topic channel Weekly Topic - Mad Scientists and the deadline for your entries is April 14th (12pm EST / 4pm GMT).

We would also encourage you to add a description to your Flipnotes. This is your opportunity to explain any points of interest and specific details that we could feature in the topic winner reviews.

And don't forget, if you want a cool thumbnail picture on your Flipnote, whichever frame you save the Flipnote on, that will become the thumbnail. So choose your favorite frame for this, or add in a cool title page at the end, and save on that.

Keep on Flipnoting and the best of luck with your entries.

PS. Purely on a note of interest, there’s an eclipse happening on Monday this week (April 8th). It's a really rare thing! Check it out online to find out the times and details of where and when to see it best.

Bye for now!
