Our Favorite Flipnotes from last weeks Topic "The Sinking of the Titanic"

This spectacular, cinematic style entry, by SimonSK, features the sinking of the Titanic from start to finish. It's beautifully animated throughout, with great attention to detail, and an exciting sound track to boot! We were also very impressed with the many Flipnote techniques used to achieve the effects in both the light and dark scenes. We're not surprised it took two weeks to make. Very well done, a really great piece of work!

In this hilarious Flipnote, by Mocha♥, her favourite pigs re-enact a tragic scene from the end from the end of the film Titanic, but with a comedy spin. Like the piggies, we were tickled pink, as we just love absurd movie parodies.

Rose is 'King of the World', in this chucklesome entry by Mayoyo. But kitty has the last laugh after the ship sinks, as he's the only one small enough to fit on the raft!

And such great flute playing too. Let's hear it for kitty!

In this Flipnote, Cosmirage tells the whole tragic story of the Titanic's sinking, with both creative writing, and beautiful animated pictures, set to a haunting sound track.

A fine tribute indeed, to those who lost their lives.

In a retelling of the original events, the mighty Titanic sinks once again! But not by running into an iceberg. This time, a rubber duck is the culprit! In this hilarious bath-time twist, by Sqwidgirly.

We were really impressed with this animated drawing of the Titanic, by kenpa(ケンパ). The shape of the hull, the four funnels and the crowded decks. All the details are spot on.

This Weeks Topic - "Surfing"

To surf the ocean wave looks incredibly exciting, but it's actually an extremely difficult water sport to master.Just standing up on your board without falling off, can be a real test of balance! However, for those who succeed, the rewards are great. Racing down the curve of a churning wave, on nothing but a waxed board, looks like an experience second to none. Some very experienced surfers take on enormous waves, which can be very dangerous, but it's highly addictive, and the challenge draws them on. Here are a few of our favourite surfing movies, for inspiration, and sound tracks for your Flipnotes. Why not check out their trailers on YouTube.
