Featuring the fully animated profile characters of 67 different creators, this rocking MV, and winning topic Flipnote by Magicardo jumps and moves to the beat kicking song “Stamp On The Ground”!
Wow!!! They certainly did!
This amazingly monstrous MV by Zorana stars the beasts of the Rainbow Pokemon.
Beautifully colorful, with great shading and texture, it includes detailed locations, animation of the elements, as well as multiple view-points of the beasts themselves.
A cute girlfriend is the romantic interest of more than one suitor in this Weekly Topic winning MV by Daniel.
Using lip-synched vocals and sing-along lyrics with dancing trombone support, the outrageous serenade reaches its hilarious conclusion with more than a little suspicion on the part of the boyfriend!
This superlative MV, made by Ran☆Chan in collaboration with Slyray, alternates between their profile characters with dynamic slash and grab moves, as well as many other creative switches.
We loved seeing some of the original collab material amongst the finished shots. It shows the fascinating process of how these projects are put together.
A 2017 meme “Spaghetti Rap” is re-imagining in this high energy topic winning entry by Jake.
The beat perfect action hits, swirls, and face-slaps along with the song, While a righteously furious M.C. chases the Wacky spaghetti thieves, caught with bolognese all over their faces!
Done in the Gizmo style, the Whopper burger and all its juicy variations have their praises sung in this super-tasty topic winning entry by ⒷIⒷⒷⒶ.
We’d like a flame grilled triple with all the toppings.
Along with their alter-egos, Glance and Gaze evade capture by the police with numerous creative disguises, as well as frame perfect lip-synch dialogue, in this winning topic MV by CosmicGAZ.
We just love it when Gaze pretends to be a weather vane.
They’ll never find her!
Showcasing a dizzying array of characters, motifs and action with expertly timed transitions and morphs, this Awesome MV, by matthieu rockets along to the beat of “Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger”.
This week’s topic is about shading.
The subject is entirely up to you!
Use Paintbrush, pencil, photo dots, cross-hatching, stippling, scribbling, or any other techniques in your Flipnote arsenal to shade in your animations and drawings.
When shading three dimensional forms, strong lights and darks always look great.
Also, expertise with blending Flipnote brushes will add subtlety and realism to your images.
We really love the way you're all so creative with these topics and look forward to seeing the Flipnotes you create for them.
Make sure to post your entries to the Weekly Topic channel Weekly Topic - Shading and the deadline for your entries is May the 21st (12pm EST / 4pm GMT).
We would also encourage you to add a description to your Flipnotes. This is your opportunity to explain any points of interest and specific details that we could feature in the topic winner reviews.
And don't forget, if you want a cool thumbnail picture on your Flipnote, whichever frame you save the Flipnote on, that will become the thumbnail. So choose your favorite frame for this, or add in a cool title page at the end, and save on that.
Keep on Flipnoting and the best of luck with your entries.
