Our Favorite Flipnotes from last weeks Topic "Pizza is Yummy"

In our first topic winning Flipnote this week, by RETROMAN, the marvelous, amorphous Clay-Doh Joe is back once again! And this time, he's an absolute monster of a pizza fan!

Watch in amazement, as he gobbles up slice after slice. Why even his record collection comes with a double topping of pepperoni.

Play it again Joe!

A calamitous trip leads to the most epic pizza delivery of all time, in our next winning entry by Cosmirage.

Both the timely arrival of the pizza pie, and the Flipnote animation itself, are as smooth as mozzarella cheese. Also, the pizza on the title page is so beautifully drawn and delicious looking, that we just had to have a slice.

Mmmmm, yummy!

Wacky the crazy Pizza Chef, shows us all exactly how not to cook a pizza, in this hilarious cooking show parody Flipnote, by Jake.

Watched by his cartoon friends, his dubious culinary activities become progressively more manic, rewarding them with dough in the face, sauce in the face, and don't even think about what happens to poor SpongeBob!

Safety warning included!

Enjoy.

With a colossal pizza to be delivered to the outside world, the task is a challenging one indeed! And it's accomplished in true Flipnote style, in this winning topic entry by Gatz.

We greatly enjoyed the mix of hand drawn and photo animation here, especially the hand puppet customer waiting to receive the tasty meal.

Nicely done pizza guy!

An ingenious wall climbing Stick Man finds a new use for a pizza slice, in this inventive topic winner by yana87.

We never knew stretchy cheese could do that before!

Spider-Man, eat your heart out!

This heartfelt plea for the welfare of pizzas, by ļ¼¼(^o^)ļ¼, really brought a tear to our eye. It made us feel extremely bad about eating pizzas right up until the last second, when the McDonald's logo was suddenly displayed. Now that's crafty!

Do Not donate $700 to this cause. Pizza Is Yummy!

In this winning topic entry by Jā—Ž3ā“Ž911šŸ“±šŸ˜ƒā„¢, a baffling case of Italian dish misunderstanding will leave you utterly bewildered!

As incredibly mind boggling as it sounds, believe it or not, this actually happened!

This Weeks Topic - "Earthquakes"

An earthquake is the shaking of the surface of the earth, resulting from a release of energy, as the tectonic plates that make up the earth's crust move into one another.

Earthquakes range in size from slight tremors that can barely be felt, to those so big that they wreak destruction on entire cities!

Animals can often sense an impending earthquake, and have been known to behave strangely just before one is about to occur.

The predicting and recording of Earthquakes is the job of the Seismologist. They use sophisticated devices to measure seismic waves coming through the earth's crust, in an effort to understand this destructive natural phenomenon.

Countries badly affected by earthquakes like Japan, have come up with some impressive quake-countermeasures in their cities and buildings. Why not check them out on-line, or any other earthquake aspects you can think of, to inspire a Flipnote idea!

Here's a list of great movies about earthquakes that might be useful:

The Quake (2018)

San Andreas (2015)

Earthquake (1974)

Turn around (2017)

Check them out on YouTube under video clips, for some great earthquake footage.

Whatever inspiration you choose, we're quaking with anticipation to see what you all come up with for this ground shaking topic.

Make sure to post your entries to the Weekly Topic channel Weekly Topic - Earthquakes and the deadline for your entries is May 30th (12pm EST / 4pm GMT).

Also, we would encourage you to add a description to your Flipnotes. This is your opportunity to explain any points of interest and specific details that we could feature in the topic winner reviews.

Keep on Flipnoting and the best of luck with your entries.
