And now, here are the winning Flipnotes from last week's topic "Pollution".
Well done to everyone who entered.
A thoughtless litterbug incurs nature’s wrath in the form of a furious bear in this Weekly Topic winning Flipnote created by will$CREAM in collaboration with “Defibulatr”.
It’s presented in a fantastic cartoon style, using both concise and extreme character animation, as well as impressive vocal performance and sound effects.
The Eco message really sinks in when it all turns out to be a cautionary tale on the dangers of pollution, told by that very same bear to his son, while an all too familiar trophy hangs above the fireside!
During a committee brainstorming session, Crate and his team discuss very different ways to reduce the city’s pollution problem in this topic winning entry by Crate.
We think Shane’s recycling idea sounds like a good one.
Although we have serious reservations about Bisque’s proposal!
(P.S. Don’t miss the committee member OCs listed and illustrated at the end of the Flipnote)
Armed with a trusty pair of rubber gloves, a stick man successfully disposes of a piece of litter in this Weekly topic winner by Sawyer.
Now that’s the way to do it!
In a sadly polluted world, reminiscences of yesteryear remind us of cleaner times in this cyclical, Topic winning entry by Tigger.
A glitch is a short lived fault in a system, particularly common in computers and electronics.
For this topic, we’re thinking of the visual effect of a computer glitch on the monitor screen.
This can appear as anything from strobing images, pixelation, and random particle break-up, to bit-piling, screen stacking, image stretching, and a host of other bizarre data splurging results.
Computer glitches are also often accompanied by high-pitched, densely complex, and unnerving sounds.
Create your topic entries by making something glitch;
A picture, a photo, a character or text.
It could be on a screen, in a video game, part of a cartoon world, or even have a life of its own.
The choice is entirely yours!
It’s "glitch city" time people!
Let’s all make a malfunction!
We really love the way you're all so creative with these topics and look forward to seeing the Flipnotes you create for them.
Make sure to post your entries to the Weekly Topic channel Weekly Topic - The Glitch Effect and the deadline for your entries is June 18th (12pm EST / 4pm GMT).
We would also encourage you to add a description to your Flipnotes. This is your opportunity to explain any points of interest and specific details that we could feature in the topic winner reviews.
And don't forget, if you want a cool thumbnail picture on your Flipnote, whichever frame you save the Flipnote on, that will become the thumbnail. So choose your favorite frame for this, or add in a cool title page at the end, and save on that.
Keep on Flipnoting and the best of luck with your entries.
