Well done to everyone who entered.

Our Favorite Flipnotes from last weeks Topic "Jokes"

Wacky’s cousin Kooky shows off his stand-up comedy talents on his very own show, in this Weekly Topic winning Flipnote by Jake.

We just loved the presentation here, setting the scene on a theater stage, with a curtain draw opening, an audience of creative characters, and even a backstage manager, who’s more than a little befuddled by Wacky’s reaction to his cousin’s first joke.

The complexities of what is and isn’t an offensive joke are the hilarious subject of this winning topic entry by SFToons.

We laughed out loud as the disgruntled audience member rips the comedian’s carefully thought out joke to shreds, eventually leaving them utterly lost for words, comedic or otherwise!

A Mcdoodle's employee tries their hand at a joke instead of a burger in this fast-food comedy Flipnote by Nirby_DS.

The animation is very nicely done and includes extreme line boil, a character pixelation, as well as broad frame perfect lip-sync dialogue.

The classic joke-opener “Two people walk into a bar” is given a literal, word based twist in this humorous topic winning entry by bubba.

A talent show comedian loses it completely when the big moment comes in this joke bungling topic winner by Soupersoup.

We greatly enjoyed waiting for the inevitable of the Contestant-Exploder Button!

A joker’s vengeful tale is told in many wonderful cartoon illustrations with accompanying narrative in this Weekly Topic winning entry by Tortoise.

Now that’s quite a punch-line!

This Weeks Topic - "Crumbling"

Crumbling is when something falls into pieces, either through pressure, or over time.

Here are some examples of things that crumble:

Old ruins and sand castles, as well as cookies and biscuits, stock cubes, and stale bread.

Incorporating cracks and tiny falling pieces into your animation would give realistic crumbling results.

Or speeding up the action in with a cartoon style and a cloud of dust could also be a way to go.

But of course, in animation we can make anything we want crumble for any reason at all! (Ren and Stimpy often use this to great effect)

How about a cartoon character crumbling in the face of some shocking news?

Or a time gun that causes things to crumble in its ray?

It’s a creator’s decision, but which way will you go?

Let’s all try crumbling something to the ground, Flipnote style, and start making a topic entry today!

We really love the way you're all so creative with these topics and look forward to seeing the Flipnotes you create for them.

Make sure to post your entries to the Weekly Topic channel Weekly Topic - Crumbling and the deadline for your entries is July 23rd (12pm EST / 4pm GMT).

We would also encourage you to add a description to your Flipnotes. This is your opportunity to explain any points of interest and specific details that we could feature in the topic winner reviews.

And don't forget, if you want a cool thumbnail picture on your Flipnote, whichever frame you save the Flipnote on, that will become the thumbnail. So choose your favorite frame for this, or add in a cool title page at the end, and save on that.

Keep on Flipnoting and the best of luck with your entries.
