Our Favorite Flipnotes from last weeks Topic "Hot Dogs"

Glin has created this wonderfully instructional Flipnote about how to make a hot dog in both French and English.

Vive la baguette! Mmmmmm!

We laughed out loud at this historically funny galumphing hot dog dog, by CrazyGrace. His running must be hampered by the buns, but if he keeps going, he may eventually ketchup!

This beautifully made entry by Sega01 is inspired by the Phoenix Wright -Ace Attorney video games. The court room atmosphere is just palpable as Wright breaks down the hot dog stealing perpetrator. It's real edge of the seat stuff!

When eating a delicious hot dog, you should always be careful that there isn't a giant, muscular hot dog parent looming on the horizon, to take issue with your choice of snack! This is the hilarious premise of our next entry, by juan sebas.

We also really enjoyed the fantastic voice acting and animated performance of the characters.

A hot dog punch bag takes a real drubbing, in this amazingly animated Flipnote, also by juan sebas.

That's a jab, jab, uppercut, with extra onions please!

This entry by ✕Frostie✕♣ features a classic and popular alternative, the chili dog! Sonic sounds like he's really enjoying it, although tails is not so enthusiastic!

Sonic the Hedgehog receives a powerful energy boost from a humble hot dog, in this dynamic entry by .:✕Nëk✕:..

We loved the squash and stretch animation, and the video game sound effects adds very nicely to the Flipnote theme.

This Weeks Topic - "Honey Bees"

Honey bees are large colourful insects that fly from flowers to flower collecting pollen, which they use to make honey to feed themselves, and their young in the long winter months.

Social insects, honey bees live in hives that they build themselves, often in hollow trees, caves, and on large rocks. They are made of bees wax, a substance secreted by glands in the worker bees, and consist of multiple densely packed hexagonal cells, known as the Comb. These cells are where the bees store their honey and pollen, and where the Queen Bee lays her eggs.

The bee colonies consist of many worker bees, drones, and one queen bee only; Worker bees can defend the hive from aggressors with venomous barbed stingers. However, each bee has only one sting, and when it uses it, it dies. The drones spend their time collecting pollen, and the queen bee, who is much larger than the others, is only concerned with laying eggs.

Fascinating, industrious and collaborative creatures, they all work together as one unit, to feed the next generation of larvae.

Your Flipnotes could be about any aspect of the honey bees that appeals to you; Their hives, how they gather pollen, the making of honey, their social structure, or just simply being a bee. What ever interests you about them, it's entirely up to you!

We hope you enjoy this buzzing topic, and that it keeps you as busy as a bee!

Make sure to post your entries to the Weekly Topic channel Weekly Topic - Honey Bees and the deadline for your entries is August 2nd (12pm EST / 4pm GMT) Keep on Flipnoting and the best of luck with your entries.
