We loved the design of this diamond head shaped, one eyed character, by MⓁ✕2019. Unfortunately he doesn't feel the same way about bumble bees. In fact it's total panic stations when he's caught in a swarm of them. And whoops, now a hive's fallen on his head too. He's seriously having a bad bee day!
We were absolutely delighted with the adorable cutie bumble bee in this entry by keîko. The cheeky chap loves his flowers and his bee hive, but still, don't get so close, or as cute as he is he may yet sting you!
A brazen bee makes threats about stinging, but then realizes he'll die if he does, in this hilarious Flipnote by Zaiden.
The family guy audio was an inspired choice, and the character performances work perfectly with the comedy.
This wonderfully discordant mix of sanguine and melancholy comes together in an extraordinary MV by VIBE CHECK, about picking flowers with bees.
We enjoyed the lyric-synced images, and the gothic drawing style of the stung hands and fingers really got the idea across nicely.
User had us chuckling with this parody of scientific analysis on whether or not bees should be able to fly. But when we heard the bees opinion of what the humans think of their aviation, we were literally in stitches!

Slyray has designed a fantastic Mine Craft style bees for this charming and whimsical MV. The many detailed backgrounds and cool square bee animation work beautifully for a fabulous entry.
This Weeks Topic - "Flapping in the Wind"
This week's topic is about the movement of things that flap, flutter, billow and wave in the air on a windy day. This would include fabric, paper, hair or anything else you can think of.
Some typical subjects for this could be flags, long hair, clothing like scarves and dresses, washing on a line and news papers to name but few.
Undulating movements with lots of flowing 'S' curving shapes works well for a flapping motion in animation. An irregular flow of movement and speed, mixed in with random changes of shape adds realism to the movement, as the energy of the wind battles against the forces of gravity and weight with in the pliable material. It's a great movement to study and can really bring an animated subject to life.
