Our Favorite Flipnotes from last weeks Topic "Catchphrase Flipnotes"

A big fan of the quiz show, as well as myself, mrjohn has created this gorgeous animated catchphrase, using an object, an action, and lip-synced dialogue to suggest the chosen saying.

It's beautifully presented with animated titles and text, and watching it, you really feel like your actually in the show! Just say what you see, or download the Flipnote to find out the catchphrase answer!

KingNerd has created this great catchphrase animation, using an action and a recognizable character stereotype. It's very cleverly done, and communicates the catchphrase saying extremely well. Great job!

Here's a second animated catchphrase from mrjohn. This one uses an action and an object to suggest the saying, and features one of the cartoon characters from the TV Quiz show.

We were very impressed with the falling action and the supporting effects bring the idea together perfectly.

To figure out the catchphrase answer, just say what you see, or download the Flipnote and reveal the hidden answer.

We really enjoyed this interpretation of the topic theme. MafiaDraws has parodied the Catchphrase quiz show with hilarious results! We laughed out loud at the ridiculous answer the contestant comes up with, but if there was such a catchphrase as 'Popsicle Bike', the drawing flash would have been the perfect clue to it!

The exuberant, enthusiasm of the character in this Flipnote by Kêithkash★, is just palpable! He's so totally ready, that his catchphrase is immediately apparent to anyone within earshot!

Our next selection, by Ran☆Chan features a tasty, fast food catchphrase. See if you can guess it! Or download the Flipnote for an answer-reveal!

We really relished the contrasting customer reactions, before and after the catchphrase question. Boy oh boy, he loves his desert!

Adapting their OC with fiery hair, to mimic 'Lightning McQueen' from the movie 'Cars', ✕HighVolt✕ features the four fendered chap's favorite catchphrase, " You too, could look like me!" in this cool topic entry. The voice and dialogue work very nicely indeed with a different character, and we very much enjoyed the use of the profile OC.

This Weeks Topic - "Toasted Marshmallows"

This week on August the 30th, it's national Marshmallow Toasting Day!

A popular camping and backyard tradition, toasting skewered marshmallows over a campfire, caramelizes the outer skin, and melts the inside into a delicious molten sugary treat.

As well as being scrumptious, melting a marshmallow over an open flame could make a great Flipnote! The movement of fire and melting together should be fun to animate.

If you wish to turn marshmallows in to characters for your Flipnotes, there's some cool designs associated with the advertising and packaging of various marshmallow brands, such as Dandies, Stay Puft, Kroger and Peeps. And of course don't forget Marshmallow Fluff!

Although we're aiming this topic at the Marshmallow confection rather than the Marsh Mallow plant, it's fine to make a Flipnote involving the Marsh Mallow plant if you like, as it was used in ancient Egypt to make the original medicinal Marshmallows that the modern day form of the marshmallow confection comes from.

So weather it's gelatinous, sweet, gooey, melty or just plain yummy, our mouths are watering with anticipation of your entries for this topic.

Make sure to post your entries to the Weekly Topic channel Weekly Topic - Toasted Marshmallows and the deadline for your entries is September 6th (12pm EST / 4pm GMT). Keep on Flipnoting and the best of luck with your entries.
