Excited to get together with his brother Luigi, Mario pits his wits against an intractable elevator in this Weekly Topic winning Flipnote By Luciano.

Including sprite-styled and blender animation, as well as an expertly crafted cell phone display chat, the character movement and wizz-stretch FX are truly awesome to behold.

When Jacky plays around with a shopping mall escalator, it’s an accident waiting to happen in this crazy-caper Topic winner by Jake.

The slapstick humor is played to perfection with a hilarious comedy routine. And we were particularly impressed with the rendering of the escalator itself.

The use of line movement behind shading for the staircase is highly effective. As is the dot-erasure of the escalator sidings to make them look transparent.

Brilliantly observed and very well executed.

Which way are we looking at this escalator?

Upside down, or right side up?

geezer answers this mind bending question with the placement of a traveling figure in this super smooth, speed 8, optical illusion animation.

Mixing Dragon Ball Manga with a moving staircase, Sh0rtiot creates a versus match like no other.

We just loved the enemy's Kamehameha finishing attack, which to the astonishment of game enthusiasts and our Flipnote hero, backfires in a spectacular explosion as they meet their escalator-demise!

Stick man Jon is definitely going the wrong way up a very unusual escalator in this topic winning animated cycle by {MAGI}.

Poor chap, however hard he runs he’s never gonna reach the top!

A stick man falls foul of an escalator’s magical booby trap in this topic winning entry by xperiax250.

The voice acting and annotated dialogue adds greatly to the action and comedy of this Roller coaster adventure.

Does this escalator come to a sticky end?

This Weeks Topic - "Crocodiles"

A crocodile is a large semi-aquatic reptile that lives in the tropics.

Equipped with a long powerful jaw lined with razor sharp teeth, and a thick scaly hide, this fearsome predator lays in wait for its prey, floating quietly in the water like a log before making a lightning fast strike.

Your Flipnotes could feature the crocodile in any way you like:
