And now, here are the winning Flipnotes from last week's topic "Milk". Well done to everybody who entered.
We begin this week with the perfect introduction to the topic theme. This comes in the form of a dramatic intro-styled, smoothly pitching camera move on a carton of milk.
Created by RETROMAN, to the splendidly retro sound track of the Thames Television introduction jingle, it whisked us back to nostalgic yester-year.
Also, we were extremely impressed by the skillful use of the Flipnote straight-line tool, to construct and animate the 3 dimensional carton moving in perspective.
Such milky grandeur is just a joy to behold!
Our next weekly topic winning Flipnote, by /MEGA/, is a hilarious sketch involving the pronunciation of the word milk!
Who knew there are so many different ways of saying it.
Surely that’s the correct way!
Anywho, we’re just off to get ourselves a nice glass of merlk!

Milk is most definitely delicious, as you will discover when you watch this topic winning Flipnote, by kip.
Featuring a hand drawn milk carton rotation, a singing milkman, and a laden milk float, it really makes one want to trip the light fantastic, while drinking a chilled glass of the white stuff.
We've heard of milk being revered to as cow juice before, but we never knew it could be freshly squeezed!

It literally baffles the mind!...............MIIIIILK! (Shouted at the top of our voices)
Milk has lots of calcium in it, and makes your bones very strong.
But, if you drink too much milk, will your bones become too strong?
Such is the chucklesome premise of this ingenious topic winner, by the gamer.
Check it out, to see what happens. It’s a laugh-riot!
This week's topic is all about The Simpsons. “Wahoo!”
Unquestionably the best known and most loved animated sitcom of all time, The Simpsons follows the hilarious, and satirical lives of the family Simpson. This consists of Homer the dad, mother Marge, brother and sister Bart and Lisa, and baby Maggie.
(Checkout the list of some of the other characters from the show, further on in the topic description.)
Your Flipnotes could feature any of your favorite Simpsons characters (or OC versions of them), dialogue or catch phrases from the series, either recorded from the show, or done as voice acted impersonations. They could be drawn in the same style as the cartoon, or be set in any of its locations.
For example; The Simpson’s home, Bart and Lisa’s school, Mo’s bar, Apu’s shop, or the town square, to name but a few.
Or indeed, any other ideas for this topic that you can come up with.
One of the many attributes that puts The Simpsons in a class of its own, is its quite bewildering array of different characters. Here’s a list of just some of our favorites:
Grampa Simpson, Lenny and Carl (Homer’s work mates), Semour Skinner (School Principal), Edna Krabapple (Bart’s teacher), Ned Flanders (Neighbour), Barny (Homer’s pal), Moe (Bar owner), Apu (Shop owner), Milhouse (Bart’s best friend), Nelson Muntz (School bully), Mayor Quimby, Clancy Wiggum (Police chief), Mr Burns (Homer’s boss), Walon Smythers (Mr Burns’s assistant), Krusty the clown, Kent Brockman (News reporter), Santa's little helper (Simpson’s dog), Snowball (Simpson’s cat).
There’s so many great characters to choose from, why not type a name into google images, and just start drawing.
We really love the way you're all so creative with these topics and look forward to seeing the Flipnotes you create for them.
Make sure to post your entries to the Weekly Topic channel Weekly Topic - The Simpsons, Cartoon TV Series and the deadline for your entries is September 19th (12pm EST / 4pm GMT). Doh!
Also, we would encourage you to add a description to your Flipnotes. This is your opportunity to explain any points of interest and specific details that we could feature in the topic winner reviews.
And don't forget, if you want a cool thumbnail picture on your Flipnote, whichever frame you save the Flipnote on, that will become the thumbnail. So choose your favorite frame for this, or add in a cool title page at the end, and save on that.
Keep on Flipnoting and the best of luck with your entries.
