But first, if you're thinking about making a topic Flipnote, don't forget to check out next week's topic theme and it's description, as well as the subsequent Upcoming Topics listed at the end of the Newsletter.

And now, here are the winning Flipnotes from last week's topic "The Simpsons". Well done to everybody who entered.

Our Favorite Flipnotes from last weeks Topic "The Simpsons"

Our first winning topic selection this week, by UsagiK showcases a fantastic collection of colorful Simpsons art.

Using a distinctive style of both dark and whimsy, and an impressive shading technique, the characters have a surreal look to them that we found very appealing.

Homer Simpson is brought to life in true, classic fashion, in our next hilarious weekly topic winning Flipnote, by Andrés.

Featuring both the Homer chuckle and the Homer shriek in its soundtrack, the animation sees Homer Simpson having some serious problems with his Nintendo DSi!

Let’s hope he gets them sorted out before Marge finds out about it.

Based on a classic Simpsons episode, this hysterically funny, weekly topic winner, by WiiGamer86 stars Homer Simpson as Angry Dad!

And what a spectacular angry dad he makes. Especially when a ketchup bottle backfires right in his face!

Just try and watch it without laughing! It’s impossible!

This brilliant animated variation of Simpsons character design, entitled “The Slopsons”, by Cin shows Homer about to make his very own Flipnote. And as usual, Marge is somewhat disappointed in him!

But let’s hope he doesn’t get in too much trouble, as the Marge character in question has a scary array of pointed teeth to tangle with!

Bart’s always getting into mischief, and Homer is frequently on the receiving end of it, as we see in this excellent photo imported, Simpsons chair smash animation, by Sega01.

The use of the outline tool, red layer import coloring, and perfectly a synchronized soundtrack, results in a strikingly effective Flipnote.

An uncanny vision of the Simpsons family plays out in our next , very nicely animated, winning topic entry, by ⒷIⒷⒷⒶ.

Complete with a mysterious, eerie sounding voice track, and Marge’s talking hair, we were wide eyed and open mouthed to the very end!

Scary stuff indeed!

This Weeks Topic - "Secrets"

Shhhhhh! This topic is a secret!

Just kidding. But it is, all about secrets!

Good secrets, bad secrets, and deep dark secrets. Secret dreams, secret places, and secret plans.

There’s so many different kinds of secrets you could choose from, the challenge is to visualize them.

Why not tell a story, and then reveal a secret at the end of it.

Or maybe, make it about how difficult it is to keep a secret forever!

Here’s a couple of ideas we had that could be inspiring for you:

How about the secret location of buried treasure? X marks the spot!

Or a secret ambition that you find embarrassing, like wanting to be a rock star!

Or keeping a friend’s secret, as an honorable deed.

Why not share your secret Flipnotes with us today.

But just beware, they won’t be a secret for long!

We really love the way you're all so creative with these topics and look forward to seeing the Flipnotes you create for them.

Make sure to post your entries to the Weekly Topic channel Weekly Topic - Secrets and the deadline for your entries is September 26th (12pm EST / 4pm GMT).

Also, we would encourage you to add a description to your Flipnotes. This is your opportunity to explain any points of interest and specific details that we could feature in the topic winner reviews.

And don't forget, if you want a cool thumbnail picture on your Flipnote, whichever frame you save the Flipnote on, that will become the thumbnail. So choose your favorite frame for this, or add in a cool title page at the end, and save on that.

Keep on Flipnoting and the best of luck with your entries.
