Our Favorite Flipnotes from last weeks Topic "Gravity"

Our first topic winning entry this week, by Unknegark！ features the most powerful gravitational force in the universe……

A black hole!

Based on the movie Interstellar, the story of family separation is intertwined with truly magnificent depictions of a journey into the heart of this mysterious phenomenon.

We were totally blown away by the animation of both our solar system, and the black hole’s event horizon, which includes planetary orbit, realistic lens flare, and immensities of swirling plasma energy.

In our next topic winner, by jwertyiop, the year is 1687 and a stickman who’s blissfully unaware he’s breaking the laws of physics is flying unaided high in the sky.

However, unfortunately for him this was the exact time that Isaac Newton discovered gravity!

And after reading up on the details from his lofty location, in a Wile Coyote moment of terror, he suddenly realizes his predicament and of course, instantly plummets to the ground!

This winning weekly topic entry by FIotaga showcases the different gravitational effects found throughout our solar system, by means of a hilariously surprised looking chicken!

We loved the subtle animations employed for the low-gravity environments such as Pluto and the moon. And laughed out loud at the extremes of squash and stretch used to illustrate the high-gravity forces generated by the larger planets and the Sun.

But good gracious! What about that poor chicken!

In this tongue in cheek reimagining of Isaac Newton’s great discovery, by JoseFigueC, when an apple falls on his head, he has an extremely bright idea.

Although this time it results, not in an incredible discovery, but instead as an opportunity for an excellent picnic!

How Isaac Newton first discovered gravity is also the subject of this rib tickling comedy Flipnote by cas.

Animated with creative dialogue and well performed voice acting, the historic drama plays out with an ironic twist as the great scientist makes his incredible discovery in spite of his disbelief in falling apples!

According to this eye opening Topic winner by Jack, it seems that at the time of Isaac Newton’s great discovery, not only was he asleep on the job, but in fact his whole realization of gravity was actually based on an apple throwing prank!

A sudden loss of gravity contributes greatly to a ceiling based incident, in this decor damaging, physics warping winner by ツemmaツ.

This Weeks Topic - "Slides

There’s many different types of slide, from the small playground ones, to the fairground helter skelters and giant theme park water slides.

They can be long, short, open, tubular, straight, curving, undulating or spiraling.

They’re all a fun ride!

Your Flipnotes could feature any kind of slide you like. Make them simple, complicated, or mad-capped, crazy and totally unbelievable.

Then send someone down at full pelt and watch them go!

P.O.V, selfie view, multiple shots; Any of these would work well, whether the slide is a perfect form, or an utter disaster!
