Hey there everyone, DeepRising here with the Weekly News Letter and Weekly Topic competition. Don't forget to check out next week's topic theme and topic description at the end of the News Letter. And now, here are the winning Flipnotes from last week's topic "Advertising". Well done to everybody who entered.

Our Favorite Flipnotes from last weeks Topic "Advertising"

Our first selection this week is this zany, action packed advert for Sudomemo, by zed.32. Over flowing with cool OCs, animation, movement and music, it's a fantastic showcase of Sudo-mayhem. As the sign says, please Log in!

The EaSy Step has just a kajillian ways to reach previously unreachable places! Developed by NASA, it is an essential for any household! We absolutely loved this hilarious advert for this gloriously ridiculous product, in this Flipnote by scaLEEane. The voice over really sells it, and the stick figure animation had us rolling about with laughter. :D

Come down to 'Hill's Crap Shack', all the dumb stuff in the world, you could want, and all massively reduced. It really is the place to be! There's a great mix of photo and drawings, with a brilliantly funny voice over to-boot, in this parody ad Flipnote, by HILL. We were so sold on it, we're off down there right now! LOL.

It's the ultimate product of all time......Sudoflakes! Very delicious, super cheap, great good morning food, and it comes with a free sticker too. What more could you want! With a very catchy jingle, and an extremely dynamic sales rep, this entry by みーちゃん really does the business.

This energetic advert, by MasterTV, really grabbed our attention! We loved the drawing style, movement and energy in this flip ad for 'Lay's Ondas crisps. Eat them today, and PARTY ON! :D

This Weeks Topic - "Ears"

This week's topic is Ears. We use them to hear with, and for balance. A wonder of biology, they funnel sound in and sense it with tiny vibrating bones. The part of the ear that we see, on the sides of the head, comes in many different shapes and sizes. The same can be seen in nature, and more besides. For example, Elephants have enormous ears, which can also help them to keep cool. Cats have amazing hearing, and their pointy ears can move to help them funnel sound. And bats can even find their way in the dark, using echo location.

From Mr. Spock and Yoda, to Dumbo and Mickey Mouse, ears have been an important element of character design through out the years. Why not create a character of your own, with ears of your own design.

We really love the way you're all so creative with these topics and look forward to seeing the Flipnotes you create for them. Make sure to post your entries to the Weekly Topic - Ears channel, and the deadline for your entries is October 6th (12pm EST / 4pm GMT) Keep on Flipnoting and the best of luck with your entries.
