Our Favorite Flipnotes from last weeks Topic "Slides

Our first topic winning selection this week, by Jack features a slide of truly Epic proportion!

It’s so incredibly tall, that not only does the ladder pass right through the clouds, but the actual slide begins somewhere in the stratosphere!

Boy oh boy what a ride!

We reckon he’s broken the ‘Slide barrier’ there!

Although the landing did look a bit painful! “Chuckle”

Our next topic winner, created by Serif illustrates the differences between childhood memories of slides and how they actually were.

The dynamic action, speed lines, and triumphant music juxtaposes nicely with simple, quiet movement to put across the romantic versus realism idea beautifully.

With nicely punctuated character performances and two great sliding actions, these fun seeking OCs both take a turn on a classic playground slide in this Weekly Topic winning Flipnote by JoseFigueC.

The almost lethal speed of a metal slide is the subject of this Weekly Topic winner by DeLtaXxGun.

With a great character and speed 7 animation, what starts as enthusiastic play rapidly turns into a nightmare!

I remember the metal ones too.

Ooooh, sore legs indeed!

This elegant stick man animation, by furgotten includes several well timed slows and pauses, a perfect weighty drop on the slide, and a cheerful run as he sets off to go again.

Very nicely done!

Antonio😃 has designed a quite astonishing mega-slide for this winning Flipnote.

The only problem is, it’s so dangerously Epic, no one has the courage to make the attempt.

Hmmmm, now that is a long way down!

In this rapid cycling, helter-skelter Flipnote by Casjin, a stick man has a joyful spiraling slide time after time.

We could watch him for hours. And with the perfect fast 'n fun accompanying sound effects, we think he's got the energy to keep going for at least that.

What huge fun!

This Weeks Topic - "Jam And Jelly"

This week's topic is all about fruit conserves known as jam or jelly!

Strawberry and raspberry jam, Peanut butter and jelly, blackcurrant conserve, or orange marmalade, there are many delicious, fruity spreads to have on toast, in a sandwich, as the filling of a pie, on a desert, or simply eaten straight from the jar with a spoon.

So why not indulge your sweet tooth by making an appetizing Flipnote about your favorite jam or jelly.

However, if you like word-play, there’s also loads of other uses for the word jam, like;

Stuck in a traffic jam, jamming on the breaks, jamming a signal, and pumping up the jam on the dance floor.

So here’s another idea that could be fun, and even messy!

Why not try mixing up different meanings of the word jam with the fruity kind, to inspire a cool Flipnote idea!

However you choose to jam, have a lip-smacking time creating a Flipnote for this tasty topic.

We really love the way you're all so creative with these topics and look forward to seeing the Flipnotes you create for them.

Make sure to post your entries to the Weekly Topic channel Weekly Topic - Jam And Jelly and the deadline for your entries is October 9th (12pm EST / 4pm GMT).

We would also encourage you to add a description to your Flipnotes. This is your opportunity to explain any points of interest and specific details that we could feature in the topic winner reviews.

And don't forget, if you want a cool thumbnail picture on your Flipnote, whichever frame you save the Flipnote on, that will become the thumbnail. So choose your favorite frame for this, or add in a cool title page at the end, and save on that.

Keep on Flipnoting and the best of luck with your entries.
