Our Favorite Flipnotes from last weeks Topic "Halloween"

A charismatic, pumpkin headed crooner serenades us with their love of brains in this fiendishly culinary Halloween MV by beefstew.

A first time Topic entrance for this creator, we were highly impressed with the character drawing, punchy editing style, and lip synch dialogue employed here.

The choice of Cartoon Network audio was also an inspired one.

Although, it will be some time before we can eat blancmange again!

The Sparks explores the art of making scary Halloween costumes in this superb and darkly atmospheric animation.

Referred to as the materials, the latest subject for inspiration is of the six legged variety, and should definitely provide the needed flavor!

The Flipnote is rendered in full screen with boiling line and paintbrush shade, and accompanied by a deliciously disturbing sound effects track, which adds splendidly to its disquieting ambiance.

Some super-crazy, cemetery shenanigans turn out to be about something quite different in this action packed, comedy duo caper by 😃📱OmⒶⓇ.

Animated at speed seven, the pair run amok around a graveyard with hilarious speed and energy, and in true Knock About Slap-Stick style. Their performance, made even funnier with much shrieking and many well placed facial expressions.

Will The Screaming Skull Of Darkness speak with us?

Listen very closely to hear what it has to say, in this otherworldly Topic winner by mrjohn.

Created with both stop motion animation and Flipnote tools, this devilishly evil looking skull, with piercing eyes, delivers its mysterious wisdom, before departing the void with a bang!

We also greatly enjoyed the echoing, voice acted dialogue created using overlapping sound bank recordings for a truly eerie effect.

When a baby ghost jump-scares their grandfather, his response is nothing but paternal pride, in this All-Hallow’s Eve comedy skit by FIotaga.

The conversational dialogue is extremely witty, and we just loved the little ghost’s sneaky entrance and curving, floaty movement through the air.

When the gang trick or treats a creepy guys house, instead of candy, their reward is a jar of tortured souls, in this terror-twisting Topic winner by CosmicGAZ.

What a hilariously gruesome alternative to a Halloween treat! But what will Glance and Gaze think of it?

Tune in to find out!

JoseFigueC both scares and delights us with this veritable treasure trove of Halloween costumed trick or treaters out on the town.

All of their outfits are perfectly themed on scary movies and games, and we recommend you give it a frame by frame view to enjoy each and every one of them in turn. (As listed in detail in the Flipnote description)

A vampire and a witch toast in All-Hallow’s-Eve in this amazing Flipnote illustration by ぜろわん.

Exquisitely drafted with fine detail, shading, and excellent composition, it features perfect eye-line, stylish clothing, and an exceptionally creative lighting system.

All cheers for Halloween!

A Wacky accident during a game of pumpkin-football escalates into absolute carnage in this winning Halloween, Creepy-Pasta animation by Jake.

Based on an original idea by “Game Genie”, Jake’s awesomely extreme cartoon style and skillful use of FX works brilliantly to evoke Wacky’s crazed madness after the incident, until finally, you’ve guessed it, poor old Phillip gets it in the neck!

A lil’ dumpling experiences double trouble when its skin takes on a life of its own in this horrifyingly tasty Topic winning entry by ♥SQUIRMLY♥.

Yikes………..That was dangerously filling!

This Weeks Topic - "The Moon"

The moon is our planet's only natural satellite.

A quarter the size of the Earth, it orbits at an average distance of 384400 kilometers, and influences, among other things, cycles in nature, rhythms of life, and the movement of our oceans and tides.

It is also linked to strange behavior in animals.

Your Flipnotes could feature the moon in any way you like, along with any other lunar related ideas that appeal to you;

How about the moon landings, the man in the moon, moon craters, moon-light, or even the idea that the moon is made of cheese.

It’s all good!

We really love the way you're all so creative with these topics and look forward to seeing the Flipnotes you create for them.

Make sure to post your entries to the Weekly Topic channel Weekly Topic - The Moon and the deadline for your entries is November 12th (12pm EST / 4pm GMT).

We would also encourage you to add a description to your Flipnotes. This is your opportunity to explain any points of interest and specific details that we could feature in the topic winner reviews.

And don't forget, if you want a cool thumbnail picture on your Flipnote, whichever frame you save the Flipnote on, that will become the thumbnail. So choose your favorite frame for this, or add in a cool title page at the end, and save on that.

Keep on Flipnoting and the best of luck with your entries.
