Well done to everyone who entered.

Our Favorite Flipnotes from last weeks Topic "Floaty"

In our first topic winning selection this week, by ShadowFox Mort has an extremely floaty experience while on a chaotic trip into space.

After a super high-adrenaline blast off in true Mort style, with violent camera shake, impossible speed, and manic screaming, when the spaceship’s jets separate, the attempted orbit turns into an out of control lunar drift in total Zero-G.

But in the end, thank goodness Mort’s pet chicken was there to save the day, averting a moon crash landing and returning them to Earth. Which funnily enough ends with them floating once again, only this time in the ocean.

The action sequences are absolutely first rate, and the comedy hits its mark every time.

Also the zero gravity effect which was achieved with 1 pixel D-pad movement on both the spacecraft and the astronaut, and accompanied by the perfect repeating musical riff creates a superb sense of floating in space and weightlessness.

Our next topic winner from long-time creator geezer is entitled “The Pool Incident”.

Featuring a flatulent, floating baby who inadvertently turns his nappy into a buoyancy device, it includes the hilarious comedy style, great character drawing, and quality voice acting that so many of us know and love.

Quick, someone grab a pair of water wings, the little tyke’s gone bottoms-up.

Pew!!!

This nervous swimmer has every form of swimming aid available, and yet is still struggling to stay afloat!

We really enjoyed the water rippling effects, hi-lighted shading and cyclical character movement that brings this fantastic animated drawing by ♦Ametrine♦ very much to life.

A falling leaf gently drifts down into the water in this winning Weekly Topic entry by Nick. A great choice of subject for a floaty Flipnote.

We also like the creative use of pixelation and reduction to effect the turn in the leaf’s movement. A very interesting technique.

A floating Thanksgiving turkey is the center of attention in this topic winning entry by Creaky.

Tethered by strings like a party balloon, it bobs and turns in the air in a very convincing way.

That’s excellent floaty animation!

An adorable kitty is enjoying the very essence of floating inside a shiny bubble in this winning weekly topic Flipnote by ☆ウサギおたまと☆♪.

We so want to give it a saucer of milk!

This Weeks Topic - "Sword Fighting"

There are many types of swords from across the ages, as well as different styles of sword fighting from all over the world.

Weapons of note include the medieval broadsword, the Japanese Katana, the Roman Gladius and the pirate Cutlass. As well as the Claymore, rapier, saber and Khopesh to name but few.

Sword fighting styles range from the fundamentals of Fencing to the Japanese Kenjutsu of the Samurai, as well as the swashbuckling combat from the Hollywood movies.

Your Flipnotes could be anything from a fully detailed, historically accurate, epic battle of blades to a stick man sword fight.

Top Tip: A stick man’s sword could just be a stick! Which would give you more time to focus on dynamic action.

But if you like the glory and drama of the movies, an epic battle could be the choice for you!

The time has come at last!

First draw your stylus, and then draw your sword.

And let battle commence……..With a weekly topic Sword Flipnote!

. We really love the way you're all so creative with these topics and look forward to seeing the Flipnotes you create for them.

Make sure to post your entries to the Weekly Topic channel Weekly Topic - Sword Fighting and the deadline for your entries is December the 4th (12pm EST / 4pm GMT).

We would also encourage you to add a description to your Flipnotes. This is your opportunity to explain any points of interest and specific details that we could feature in the topic winner reviews.

And don't forget, if you want a cool thumbnail picture on your Flipnote, whichever frame you save the Flipnote on, that will become the thumbnail. So choose your favorite frame for this, or add in a cool title page at the end, and save on that.

Keep on Flipnoting and the best of luck with your entries.
