Our Favorite Flipnotes from last weeks Topic "Thanksgiving"

Our first selection this week, is this spectacular Thanksgiving Cartoon production, by Nek studio. Posted first as a sneak peek, and then as a full Flipnote, this entry tells the story of a delightfully unexpected outcome to a hunt for a thanksgiving turkey. It's beautifully animated with great characters, and an impressive array of cartoon spot sound effects to punctuate the action.

In our next selection, by ShadowFox, Mort has goofed with ordering his Thanksgiving dinner, causing the most hilarious turkey fiasco we've ever seen. Using extreme whizzing and zipping animation, with maximum squash and stretch, the action is superbly dynamic. We loved the lightening speed with which he lays the table, and the surprise turkey slap had us in absolute stitches!

Reggie has remade one of Fred's Flipnotes featuring a Kung-Fu fighting turkey for our next Thanksgiving Flipnote. The fight choreography is highly creative, and snappy editing and pose throwing adds a highly appropriate punch to the style of the martial arts action.

School is out, in this wonderful Thanksgiving MV by ☆Infante★😃. With joyful characters, an uplifting sound track, and splendid drawing and shading, it sure is time for celebration.

Don't miss all four parts of this MV. We really loved it.

Here's one way to cook a Thanksgiving roast you may not have thought of. Breath fire on it! We were thrilled with this inspired idea, by Kornyea and the original style and free-draw technique added a surreal quality to it that we really enjoyed.

User's guests can't make it to her celebration dinner, due to Covid, in this very nicely told Thanksgiving tale. "Oh, what a disaster!" But wait! Thanks to her always reliable cat, at least the turkey doesn't go to waste! (Helpless chuckles of laughter).

In this charming and highly instructional Flipnote, cynthia proposes the correct way to have a turkey for dinner. With step by step instructions, and a visual animated guide, anyone can do it. And what makes this way really great, is that you make a feathered friend in the process.

This Weeks Topic - "Sledding"

Now that Christmas is only a few weeks away, we're launching a whole months worth of wintry, festive topic specials in the lead up to this wonderful time of year. And with the prospect of a white Christmas, and Santa already starting to load up his sleigh, this week's topic is going to be sledding.

This topic would include sleds, sleighs, toboggans (including Olympic one's), snow mobiles, and motorcycle sleds, drawn with horses, Huskies, motors, or just plain gravity!

The pure joy of flinging yourself down a snowy slope on a sled, a toboggan, or even a plastic sheet is difficult resist. The rush and speed of it, is exhilaration itself! So long as you don't end up in a crumpled heap at the bottom!

Have you ever done any sledding? How did it work out? Why not tell us about it, in the form of a Flipnote? Create your own awesome, audacious sledding animation; in cartoon, or stop motion, as a POV, an MV, or how about a crazy sledding disaster!

It's up to you!

Here are some fun video links about sledding, you may find inspiring. (They feature picture stories, stop motion and Fails):
