Camera + Stop MotionSince my original Suzanne import test, I've made some changes to my process. I seperate shaded sections by colour rather than brightness and use the chroma key node to mask them out. I now use multi sized freestyle strokes rather than lineart objects. The largest only appear close to the camera. 44 pages and 56 KB
Incredible! Did you import directly from Blender somehow? Does it go right to the flipnote's .ppm file?
Oh this is so cool. Most video/image editors have a threshold/binarize feature which I use for depth layering. It's not as fine tuned as your process but it can be used more broadly. I've have a few simple examples such as my Funky Kong flipnote.
very interesting experiment!
Wow, fascinating
