Now where else have we seen the HCUC? That's right, STARFACE'S flipnotes. This could in turn explain why we've been focusing on Starface and Staff so much throughout these past few flipnotes. It's because the two of them are connected. Staff had one of his (as well as many other hatena users) flipnotes stolen by Starface. He had his VOICE stolen, by Starface. And now, he wants to change time as we know it to remedy that. Yes, this theory would finally give us a MOTIVATION for Staff to start the June Archive Project. Staff wants to go back in time to erase starbeggars and flipnote theives from existence. And he's getting Fuzz's help to do it. However as we know, nothing good ever comes from time travel. So what's going to happen next? I honestly have no idea. While I do have some more theories, at this point, the archive could go in quite a few directions, so we'll just have to wait and see what Mr. Cereal Man has coming up next in JA. However one thing I forgot to mention is that Staff, might have been more involved with these thieves than we first realized, as Staff also says this: "We despised thieves". WE, as in "multiple people" WE. So who are these people? Well, based on the context, if Staff is referring to a group, than it could very well mean that he himself was apart of the HCUC. A group, who's goal we know, is to stop starbeggars and thieves. And to put the cherry on top of that, what do we see at the start of Staff Absence, a DS with an eye on the screen. An eye that looks awfully similar to the HCUC logo. (3/?)
Now as (most of us) know, Starface in the hatena days was most likely a starbeggar or flipnote thief, as we see him in multiple flipnotes, taking on personas of other famous hatena characters, as well as stealing flipnotes for his own gain. But could it be that Starface stole one of Staff's flipnotes? Yes, actually! In Archive Absence (2), Staff says three lines that really confused me at first. Those lines being "He was there", "He KNOWS this", and "AND YET HE STOLE MY VOICE". Now at first you might think that we don't know who this "he" that Staff is refering to here. Well that's where you would be WRONG! (2/?)
Here's my current theory (as of right now): Before the hatena shutdown, Staff was a regular hatena user. During it's runtime, we can assume that Staff might have been a bigger flipnoter on hatena (or at the very least, had a popular flipnote), due to him expressing his hatred for "beggers and liars". This (and other lines like "If you made something big, it was guaranteed to be stolen") implies that one of his more popular flipnotes was stolen by a starbegger or flipnote thief, like say.. Starface? Now, hang on for a second! Because this next part might sound like a bit of a strech, so just bear with me here. (1/?)
