I'd guess your DSi may be repairable (a challenge I would gladly accept), but sometimes it's difficult to identify the issue if you don't really know what to look for. If you have a 3DS, you could soft-mod it and run Flipnote Studio on that, but unfortunately, you'd have to make a new account if you use a different console.
In any case, life goes on. Glad to know I'm viewed as a friend, and I'm glad you got be a part of the fun, here.
