PS. I should ask, do you know how to import photos from the DSi camera in to Flipnote Studio?

Then add a drawn background for a suitable setting.
Is it a close up photo? Or a medium wide (Head and body)?

Once it's imported, you could try lots of things to bring it to life. How about moving the eyes (Drawing them as cartoon eyes looks cool.) Or animating the mouth to make it talk. You could also try re drawing and animating the arms.

Yes, you can make a flipnote with a single photo. Good idea.
If you draw around yourself with white in photo graffics, this will help with importing it. Or, you could just import it as it is.
Move the importing dot around untill the photo looks good.
